Blurring the lines between alternative rock, jazz, funk, metal, bluegrass and other genres still, Umphrey's McGee exploded out of the contemporary Jam Scene in the late Nineties with an inimitable fusion of improvisation and progressive rock that was influenced by the likes of King Crimson, Yes, Pink Floyd and Frank Zappa.

Psychedelic provocateurs The Flaming Lips are no strangers to the weird and wonderful. With their astral soundscapes peppered with whimsy and humour to their Merry Prankster-esque on stage antics, the band have become a cult favourite since the release of their first studio album in the 1980s. Following a stint as Miley Cyrcus collaborators on her 2015 album Miley Cyrus & Her dead Petz, the band return with latest record Oczy Mlody, which features the trippy and rather lovely 'The Castle'.

Birmingham, Alabama natives St Paul and the Broken Bones blend tight horn lines and Southern-fried soul to form music that's buzzing with electricity. As such, their live shows are no sit-down affairs and front man Paul Janeway brings the gospel-soaked goodness of his vocals to stage with the energy of a young James Brown.
