Time for noise insulation
I love the Phantom and enjoyed seeing it in NYC last week. However, the street noise through the side exit doors was so loud that it was distracting and difficult, often, to make out what the actors were saying. I think it is time to rennovate!
the greatest play i've ever seen =]
My fiancee and I saw the tour in Louisville and it was without a doubt the greatest play I have ever seen. There was not an empty seat in the whole theater. The theatrical affects throughout the whol production was surprising and also brought out the illuison of the story much more. We have already decided to attend the production next year.
FANTASTIC, MAGICAL!
This show blew me away! The set, the effects, the orchestra, the entire cast was FANTASTIC! Both Christine and The Phantom were 10/10. Stunning performance all around. A perfect representation of what this show should be, and why it is still so magical today. Bravo!
Electric Guitar Unecessary
Wonderful performance by every actor! The set was amazing, beautifully detailed even from up in the third tier of seats!! Only complaint I have is during the titular song, Phantom of the Opera, there was an electric guitar that was extremely out of place and even overpowered the actors singing a few times. Other than that one thing, I was amazed by the whole production! Wish I had the time and money to go again!!!
FANTASTIC!!!
Third time for me seeing the show over the decades, the first time I went it was Crawford and Brighton. I took my wife and daughter to see it and they loved it. My daughter who is musical with perfect pitch was hooked right from the get-go. The cast was great, the Phantom perfect. He was emotional and played the madness of Eric unlike anyone I have seen before. Christine was mesmerizing and Raoul was exactly the person needed for the roll. Brave, strong, complimentary to the other leads. Everyone was FANTASTIC and my daughter said it was magical. Very well done!!!
Phantom’s Reign
Phantom of the Opera at Denver’s Temple Hoyne Buell Theatre was nothing short of spectacular. From the first note to the final fall of the curtain, the performance was absolutely breathtaking. Isaiah Bailey, as the Phantom, delivered a rich, raw performance that moved me to tears. Alexa Moster’s pure, crystal-clear tone paired beautifully with both Bailey and Daniel Lopez, whose smooth, sultry presence as Raoul brought depth and undeniable charm to the production. Midori Marsh proved that even at altitude, extraordinary breath control and a commanding operatic performance can leave an audience in awe. I was so overwhelmed by this production that it took me over an hour to process my thoughts enough to share them without becoming emotional. It is rare to experience a cast so powerful that they can move an audience to silence, tears, and complete breathlessness. Because of Isaiah Bailey’s performance as the Phantom… I am officially Team Phantom for life. Sorry, Raoul—I’m Team OG.
